Magnus really took his time to understand our business. He spent an hour on the phone with us before even attempting to look at our website. He then sent over an in-depth analysis.

Everything he said made sense, going into specific detail about our website rather than making generic statements. It was a thorough audit, and a thorough proposal of what we should do, backed up with examples of exactly how each step would work and what we could achieve.

Almost immediately, we started receiving enquiries for products that nobody had ever contacted us about before. We had resigned ourselves to thinking they just weren’t very popular, but now we realise they simply weren’t showing up in search results.

Paul Thorne – Managing Director
Washware Essentials

The Client:

Washwear Essentials is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of commercial sanitary ware, equipping schools, public buildings and office blocks with urinals, wash fountains and all manner of washroom accessories.

When their website wasn’t performing well, they contacted us for expert SEO advice. This is how we helped them achieve record monthly sales within three months of implementing our strategic SEO and content marketing campaign.

Their Objectives:

Washwear contacted Bespoke Digital to tender for the contract to become their SEO marketing partner. We were one of ten local agencies shortlisted.

As part of our proposal, we ran an initial SEO audit on their site and provided a series of prioritised suggestions on how to best improve performance within Google’s organic search results.

The feedback we received from Paul Thorne (MD) was that we were the only agency to go into specific detail about the issues with their site, rather than just making generic statements about SEO, and that our pre-contract audit was more detailed and actionable than any of our competitors, many of whom just returned a basic/automated SEO report.

On the strength of this, we won the contract.

Our Approach:

Our initial search engine optimisation strategy included:

  • An in-depth website audit to identify SEO concerns
  • Working with web team to resolve duplicate content issues
  • Optimising the meta data of key product pages
  • Resolving page indexation/crawl depth problems
  • Developing content for category pages, blog posts & how-to guides
  • Promote content to new audiences (outreach)
  • Building a reporting framework to track KPIs and goals

The Results

During the course of our campaign, Washware saw the following search traffic improvements::

  1. A 22% increase in website users within the first 6 months

  1. 53% growth in organic traffic in yr.1, followed by a further 45% in yr.2

  1. 45% increase in organic revenue yr.1 with a further 50% in yr.2
